with the only tangible benefit that it permanently removes the promo message displayed in the extension's popup.

v 2.2.0 (2017 . 08 . 30)
Version 2 is now out of Beta!
Notable features:
New UI (obiously)
A "rotate" button in the popup menu that swaps the viewport dimensions, from landscape to portrait mode and vice versa (Eg. a 960 x 640 viewport becomes 640 x 960)
A "popup" button which opens the current tab in a new popup window with minimal window borders, which alows it to be resized to very small dimensions
A button for quickly toggling the "resize tooltip" (that small box that displays the current window dimensions) on and off for the current page only
The "resize tooltip" can now be moved to any corner of the window by simply grabbing it by the icon and dragging to the desired location
The popup menu now displays a "quick resize" form that allows you to input custom width & height values to quickly resize the window or viewport to custom dimensions
The extension's icon can now be customized in the settings (5 variants available) so that is better matches your current Chrome theme
No more intrusive default keyboard shortcuts (yay!)
Your settings are now automatically synced by Chrome to all your devices you are logged on to
Also, you can now support further development of this extension by purchasing a "Pro" license. This doesn't give you anything extra (at least for now) but the satisfaction
that you contributed to the development of a tool you (hopefully) enjoy using and makes your life easier.
You can consider this a donation, with the added benefit that you receive an invoice for your payment, so companies can deduct this as an expense.

window's left edge stays in the same position (located under settings » other)
Fixed the tooltip flickering by changing the way the re-size tooltip is automatically added to the pages.
The previously used Chrome API would trigger the display of the tooltip every time a resource (like an iframe)
was reloaded, causing problems on sites like Google Docs.
Fixed a bug that was overwriting the icon style when the extension was updated.
...other internal fine-tunning.
