To open the Quick Control Panel, click on the AlphaText icon on the browser bar. The Quick Control Panel is where you apply style changes to your current webpage, and control saved automatic profiles on specific sites.
To apply style changes, choose from the dropdown menus under "Quick Styles" attributes that you want to apply. If you do not wish to change some of the attributes, leave them as "---". Then, click on the "Set" button. You should see the styles applied to the current webpage!
You can also apply a pre-configured set, or "Profile", of styles at once, by clicking on the saved profiles. You can set your profiles in the options page.
You can also fix pages with bad colors for reading. Choose color for the background (BG) and text in the dropdown menus on the right, and click "Adjust colors".
You can clean up cluttered webpages by removing images, videos, fancy bacjkgrounds, etc., by clicking "Hide media".
To remove the applied changes and restore original appearance, click "Clear all".
You are also able to always apply a profile to certain saved websites upon visit. To save a website domain, apply the profile you want to be applied, then click on the "Save P_ to site" button. You can remove the saved domain by clicking "Unsave P_ to site" when on the website domain; you can also do so on the options page.
The options page is where you set and manage your style profiles, and manage saved websites to always adopt an AlphaText profile. You can also configure the appearance of AlphaText here.
To define a new profile, set the style attributes, and click "Set as Profile". You can only save a maximum of 3 profiles. Delete any profile by clicking on the button.
Under "Saved Domains Management", you can see a list of the domains you have saved, and the profiles associated with them. Click on the domain link to go to the website. Delete the saved entry by clicking on the delete button .
Under Appearance Settings, you can configure the appearance of AlphaText, and toggle dark/light background.
